Sunflower Cupcakesby ~Angel-Of-Tricks

A little sweet sunshine to make you smile! I made these for Easter dinner, and they were a big hit. Chocolate cupcakes with cookies and creme filling, topped with colored vanilla frosting. The sunflower is an Oreo cookie with pretty icing petals piped painstakingly onto each one. It took forever to do them all XD Most of the leaves and the butterfly and ladybugs were colored candy melted and piped onto wax paper, though a few leaves were cut up fruit rollup candy. I was experimenting. The fruity candy sticks to my hands too badly though, so the piped leaves won out.

I did. Thats the book that made me get interested in cake decorating. I always loved it and thought it was cool, but that book is what made me really believe I could do it too!

It is. The author wrote two more cake books, there very neat as well. I got all of them XD I've made a few more things from the books, and sometimes I just look theough and get ideas of my own from one thing or another.
